I think that I would be at home where the typical ancient Greece women are longed. I would be cooking a meal so that it was ready for when the men came home. I also think that I would be teaching my daughters the necessities that a women need to survive. I would be in the garden picking crops. I would not be allowed to leave my house without my husband and if I was a young women I would most likely not be allowed to go to school I would have had to stay home with my mother and help her with the house work. But my husband, father or son would be at the Agora.

I would think that life in Greece would depend on what kind of person you are. For example if I were a goddess or god I would have a lot of power and wouldn’t even have to lift a finger, unless you’re using your power. But if I were a slave I would have no power at all and all I would be doing is hard work all day, by gardening, cleaning, cooking etc. That’s how I would think life in Greece would be.

I think life would be kind of easy for me because the ancient Greeks were the first Europeans to read and write with an Alphabet, which eventually led to all modern European languages. This means that I would have to learn the European language and that may be hard. Greek religion encompasses the collection of beliefs and rituals practiced in Ancient Greece in form of cult practices, thus the practical counterpart of Greek mythology. And that’s why it might be kind of easy for me to live in ancient Greece. That is why it might be easy but hard for me to live in ancient Greece.

I think that living in ancient Greece wouldn't be fun because I wouldn't like having to stay at home all day. I wouldn't like it because I wouldn't want to not have a job because it would make me feel helpless. I also don't like depending on people and it that's what would be happening. Finally, it would make me feel like I'm a servant and I hate that feeling. These are some reasons that I wouldn't like living in ancient Greece.

If I lived in Ancient Greece, I would spend most of my time at home. If I were a mother, I'd spend my day cooking and cleaning. I'd also take care of my children. However, I wouldn't have an education, because most girls stay inside. If any woman needed to go anywhere, they'd need a man to escort them because men protected their wives. I would probably have a husband (not of my choice) that would do all of the working. He would earn money and spend most of his day in the agora, an outdoor market. If I had any free time, I would spend it by weaving baskets and sewing. As a woman, I would have very little of a social life. Not being able to leave the house would prevent me from socializing. I'd hate living life as an ancient Greek woman because I would be controlled, have no choice on my actions, and have very few rights.

If I lived in ancient Greece, I would spend most hours of the day at home. I would cook for the men when they came home from the Agora and the day’s work, I would care for the kids, clean the house, and look after the slaves. In my free time, I would probably spend my time sewing and mending, as well as teaching my daughters (If I had any)how to sew, cook, and clean. Also, if I wanted to go anywhere, I would have to be escorted by my husband. I would not enjoy living in ancient Greece, because of the lack of freedom and rights women had.

I think life would be tough for me in Ancient Greece. I think this because women in Ancient Greece had to do most of the cleaning and cooking and I don’t really like to do those things. But just because you don’t like doing something does not mean that they aren’t simple tasks, so it would be easier than the things men had to do. I would also have to care for the children and direct the slaves and I like being in charge so that is not so bad. But if I wanted to go somewhere I would have to go with my husband with I don’t like at all! Women also had to do all the sewing and weaving which I also don’t mind but it’s not the best thing to do. Therefore I think that women have very little rights in this life so I wouldn’t like it at all.

If I were living in ancient greece I would probably have to be a farmer which is still a lot of work. I would spend most of my time in the Agora when I wasn't working. Since boys are the only ones educated I'd infer that I would be one of the smarter boys simply because no girls have an education. i would try to be a vendor to make more money for my family. That being said, i probably wouldn't be at home much because I would be too busy supporting my family. My wife would end up taking care of the kids. I would try to either get some sleep or helpout at the house when i am at home. I don't want to have my wife doing everything. That would be too much of a burdon.

If I were to live in Ancient Greece I wouldn't really like it in fact I'd hate it. One of the reasons I said this is because women didn't have much rights back then so I'd be at home taking care of the children while my husband would be at work trying to support the family. I wouldn't really have a social life and I like being around people and talking so that would be another reason for me to hate living in Ancient Greece.

If I lived in ancient Greece I would hate it because women could not do much of anything. One thing that we could not do was we could not leave our house. We could only leave our house if we had our husband escort us.I also would not of had an education. I would spend most of my day cleaning, cooking and taking care of the children. While my husband would probably at the agora (market place) discussing philosophy. I would not have much of a social life. Those are some reasons I would not want to live in ancient Greece.

If i were to live in ancient Greece i would not like it at all. Since i am very outgoing and i want to be a free lady when i grow up i would not live there. I would not live there because women did not have lots of rights. And they had to stay in home all day while the men can go out and have fun. Also because some men think they have to protect there families all the time and its true but women can take care of themselves too.The last reason is because women could not vote and when i grow up i want to vote to!

My family lives on a prosperous farm outside of Athens. I feel we have more liberties because we are not under the scrutinizing eye of the city. We have fig and olive orchards on our farm. As a young girl, I am very fortunate that my father has taught me to read and write. I am fascinated by the teachings of Aristotle and Plato. My father feels it is important for both boys and girls to be well-educated. Once a week my family travels into the city where my father and older brothers visit the agora and my mother and I place gifts to the gods at various oracles. How I wish I could venture into the agora to smell the delicious food cooking and listen to the men debating. Maybe some day...

I would be a trade collecter, so I can see all the defrent kinds of goods ancient Greeks would sell or trade.I would also be a farmer so I can sell my crops at the Agora. I would also be a soldier so I can go to defrent city-states, and fight for my gods. I think Greece is better than Sparta because Greece had better trade and more respect for their natives. And this is why I think it would be alright to grow up in ancient Greece. - Andrew R. Thomas

What would my life be like in Ancient Rome?
My life in ancient Rome would be ok I guess because I would learn how to make things and have to do hard labor and learn how to fight in a war and how to defend my self and and I would have to get a job to put food on the table for my family and I would have to teach my self different task and I would mite have to do other thing like cooking and cleaning but that is a maybe .And that is how my life would be like in Ancient Rome
